development among refugees and has been active in Uganda since 1997 as an
operational partner to Office of the Prime Minister and United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, design and conduct trainings and materials related to literacy
in local languages and English for refugee and Ugandan adults. - To arrange and promote practical exercises, activities and hands-on
projects for adult learners in order to enhance functionality of the
training courses. - Provide professional guidance and mentoring to volunteer instructors
and adult learners. - To regularly collect and analyse data as per M & E Plan, and
produce reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) Adult Education
Officer job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education /
Pedagogy or Community Development with strong experience in adult
education and literacy. - Two years of professional adult education work experience with
communities. - Previous experience on training, material development, participatory
assessments.
