Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Medical Clinical Officer will take part in diagnosing and
managing common disease conditions, in-patient case management, making
appropriate referrals to higher tier facilities for complicated cases - Support mentorships and training to build capacity of lower cadres,
provide quality HIV/AIDS services to enrolled clients both adults and children,
TB/HIV collaboration and management, nutritional assessment and management - Complement efforts of midwives in offering quality maternal and
child health services - Coordinate efforts to implement and document continuous quality
improvement activities at the facility - Actively participate in the compilation and submission of HMIS and
programmatic reports to the various stakeholders - Regularly attend facility, district and partner initiated meetings
aimed at improving health services delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a diploma in Clinical Medicine from a
recognised institution - Hands-on experience HIV/AIDS clients and other common illness is a
must.
