Institute is a reputable Nursing and midwifery school located in Rugongo,
Karungu -in the newly created district of Buhweju in western Uganda, which aims
at increasing access to basic health care by the Ugandan population through the
delivery of Health Care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To supervise and teach clinical skills to students in clinical areas
and at the Institution. - To be responsible for the progress reports and forms being taken to
the wards and collect these forms at the end of the experience and passing
them to the Academic Registrar - To attend meetings of the school or clinical areas as appropriate
- To assist in the supervision of students who are gaining experience
in the community and practicum sites. - To participate in the classroom teaching as allocated
- To set, supervise and mark student assessments.
- To give student performance reports to the Academic Registrar.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing Or
Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution. - Must be registered and licensed by the Nurses’ council.
- One year of teaching experience in a recognized Health training
institution. - Ability to work and stay in a rural setting is a MUST
