About US:
The Ministry of
Works and Transport is a Cabinet level government ministry of Uganda, that is
mandated to plan, develop and maintain an economic, efficient and effective
transport infrastructure, and transport services by road, rail, water, and air.
About Force Account:
Force Account is a
support project towards the development and maintenance of the National Road
network in Uganda. It is an approach by the Ministry of Works and Transport to
ensure cheaper, faster and effective way of developing Road network in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Ensure
proper storage of equipment and materials.
·        
Ensure
welfare of the staff
·        
Maintain
office records
·        
Assist
unit Managers in the coordination of office activities.
·        
Initiate
purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular store items.
·        
Issue
materials as required on site.
·        
Maintain
and update the site asset inventory.
·        
Perform
any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
applicant must hold a Diploma in management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering,
Supplies and Logistics Management, procurement and Supply chain management,
Social Work and Social administration or any other related field.
·        
Practical
experience in store keeping of at least 2 years is added advantage
·        
Knowledge
of computer applications is added Advantage
·        
Applicants
should be willing to work in any part of the country by normal posting
instruction.
·        
Age: 25 to 40 years
