is owned by the Madhavani Group and it is extracted from cane grown on lush
plantations on the shores of Lake Victoria. The sweet, sparkling crystals with
their distinctive taste and flavour, and rich golden colour, have sweetened
dishes all over Uganda since the 1930s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Tasked with preparing conceptual plans and preliminary drawings of
    proposed projects along with their cost estimates.
  • Preparing tender documents and covering technical specifications,
    bill of quantities sufficiency to enable invitation of tenders.
  • Maintaining a register for material consumption like cement, paints
    and preparing a monthly report.
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of all the sectional sub
    heads.
  • Preparing abstract cost of work executed in the section at the end
    of every month.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering,
    or a Higher Technical Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering.
  • Computer literacy in Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
  • Six years of experience in related field.
  • Age: 35 years and
    above
