producer of offshore crude oil and natural gas. China National Offshore Oil
Corporation (CNOOC) specializes in offshore upstream exploration and
production.
Job Summary:  The Project Coordination Supervisors are fully
responsible for the oil field development project Coordination and site
support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate site activities, resources, equipment and information.
  • Help solve the problems on site during early works and EPC.
  • Reviewing the activities of the various departments to ensure that
    all are integrated and performed as one team for the execution of the
    Project
  • Coordinating the interfaces among the various departments,
    Contractors, and/or other Parties if required.
  • Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor and track the project’s progress and handle any issues that
    arise.
  • Serve as the point of contact and communicate project status
    adequately to all participants.
  • Create and maintain necessary project reports.
  • Others duties as assigned by superior.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the CNOOC Uganda Project Coordination Supervisor
    job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum,
    Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or the related.
  • At least 10 years’ of proven work experience in project management
    in the Oil and Gas field.
  • At least five years of proven work experience as a site construction
    management, support or supervisor for Oil and Gas projects.
  • International working experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management procedures in Oil and Gas
    projects.
  • Familiar with site management procedures and requirements.
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas Industry.
