Uganda. The AICAD Head Office is located in Juja Kenya. AICAD has country
offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda located at Egerton University, Nakuru,
Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, and Makerere University in
Kampala, respectively.

Job Summary: The
Programme Officer will be responsible for: planning and implementing country
programme activities in the line with programme activities in the country
office; carrying out monitoring and evaluation of country programmes based on
the set criteria; prepare detailed periodic reports on programme activities in
the country on behalf of the Secretariat; planning, implementation, monitoring
and evaluation of research projects, training and information networking;
undertake various types of duties related to research and development, training
and extension and information networking and documentation on behalf of the
secretariat; disseminate skills and knowledge of the AICAD Ex-trainees to the
local communities; undertaking any other duties as may be assigned by the
Country Director or his/her assignee.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Programme Officer must hold a Degree in Business Administration
- A minimum of six years’ experience in programme planning, execution
and logistics management in the development sector - Previous experience working with a Regional International
Organization will be highly considered. - Experience in research, training and extension and; strategic
planning will be an added advantage. - Computer literacy skills
- Fluent in English.
- Age: Between 35 –
50 years
