Committee (ARC) International is an International nonprofit, nonsectarian
organization that provides humanitarian assistance and training to millions of
beneficiaries around the world.
overseeing the refugee SGBV protection program in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement.
He /She will work with implementing partners in the settlement to ensure that
the principles of effective and high quality SGBV and people of special needs
programming are applied by providing technical support and supervision
consistent with international, national standards and ensure that program
design and implementation creates no harm in the communities, promotes human
rights and has positive impact.
- The ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC)
International Program Manager career placement should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community development, Psychology or
related field. - At least five years of program management experience in
GBV/protection or similar with displaced populations, or in post conflict
settings - Excellent experience in leading and managing emergency response
project(s) addressing protection or GBV prevention and response - Good knowledge of GBV international best practices, including IASC
GBV Guidelines, Caring for Survivors, SOPs, IMS and Coordinator Handbook; - Extensive knowledge on SASA! approach is added advantage
