Job Summary: The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator
will be in charge of collection, retrieval and cleaning of data on supply chain
monitoring and pharmaceutical sector performance indicators. S/he will maintain
a logistics database that will provide information on supply chain strength and
bottlenecks to inform technical assistance and support supervision. The
Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will work closely with the Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to monitor the implementation of the Pharmacy
Department work plan and monitor improvement SPARS and DHIS2 data quality
specifically on indicators used to monitor availability of medicines and
utilization through Medicine Management Supervisors (MMS).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, extract and clean data from the PIP and DHIS2 to be
analyzed and used for reporting. - Provide information to the Pharmacy Division team and technical
program logisticians to plan and conduct periodic data quality assessments
and follow up actions for implementation - Support the M&E unit of the pharmacy department to monitor and
produce facility stock status reports in DHIS2 - Extract and clean data from DHIS2 for the facility stock status
report - Update and upload documents into the PIP document library
- Work with the M&E Specialist to collect and analyze relevant
facility logistics data to inform technical assistance and support
supervision by MoH, technical program logisticians and its partners - Work with the M&E Specialist in the regional and national data
cleaning exercises. - Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
from time t
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Management Sciences for Health (MSH)
Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator job placement must hold a bachelor’s
degree in Statistics. - Ability to use Excel for basic analysis.
- Basic knowledge in Stata, SPSS, Ms. Excel, Power point and Word.
- Knowledge in web-enabled DHIS2.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work and deliver under strict timelines.
