organization that provides humanitarian assistance and training to millions of
beneficiaries around the world.
Job Summary:  The MHPSS Coordinator will be responsible for
overseeing ARC’s current MHPSS programming, develop new partnerships to expand
ARC’s ability to provide MHPSS services to greater numbers of refugees and host
communities, and participate actively in national and regional MHPSS
Coordination events.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC)
    International MHPSS Coordinator job placement should preferably hold a
    Master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry or related
    field is essential.
  • At least five years of experience in development or humanitarian
    sector MHPSS programming, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Uganda and regional MHPSS funding
    mechanisms, priorities, and emerging opportunities, potential partners.
  • Strong proposal writing skills.
