Job Summary: The ICT Digital Applications Developer will translate user software
requirements into workable programming code by designing, installation, testing
and maintenance of software applications in order to help the company to be
more efficient and provide better services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design applications and databases by taking part m the collection of
user application requirements, analysis and design in order to ensure that
all user needs are captured comprehensively in order to design usable and
acceptable software applications - Develop Applications and Database manuals by documenting system
designs and workflow and source code and keeping mam in safe agreed
locations, so as to ensure easy troubleshooting in case of system failures
and ease future software development - Participate in full testing of all 3rd party sourced applications by
subjecting them to agreed standard tests to ensure they meet user end
company requirements. - Backup systems and do systematic program updates accordingly by
following the set schedules to ensure minimal interruption to business and
taste# disaster recovery, - Adapt existing programs & apportions to new requirements, by
periodically collecting user feedback on existing applications m order to
ensure business continuity. - Provide second level support for third party (out-sourced)
applications used by the Company by collaborating with the software
providers to ensure they meet company service level agreements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art &
Design from a recognized institution - Certification in project management will be an added advantage
- Ability to work with different APIs
- Basic knowledge in Linux systems Administration
- Basic knowledge in payment systems operations
- Knowledge of Java and C-programming & HTML 5
- Knowledge in database systems such as SQL, MYSL and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python and PHP
- Keen attention to detail
- Innovative
- Good team player
- Ability to work under little supervision
- Timely delivery
