Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for performing
routine accounting functions that directly impact the organization’s financial
performance. The Accountant will assist the Controller in tasks as assigned.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist
with P&L and/or pro-forma analysis projects from all aspects of data gathering,
organizing, analyzing and presenting to Management
Assist

Complete
all assigned Journal Entries per time schedule

Responsible
for certain Accounts Payable vendor payments as assigned

Assist
with Fixed Asset System, CER process, and capital statistics as needed
Assist

Reconciles
assigned balance sheet accounts per time schedule

Assist
with preparation of annual Medical Insurance Cost report work papers, budget
process, and other interim work papers

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant
must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Two years
of hospital/ healthcare accounting experience preferred

Knowledge
of generally accepted accounting principles and verbal, interpersonal and
quantitative skills normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree
in Accounting
