Cure Children’s
Hospital of Uganda (CURE Uganda), a non-profit Christian hospital located in
Mbale, is the only pediatric neurosurgery center with a mission of transforming
the lives of children living with neurological disabilities and their families
through physical and spiritual healing.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in
    Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or any other
    related area.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA is an added
    advantage.
  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of work experience in
    accounting/finance. Work experience in a PNFP/NGO, healthcare setting,
    and/or senior management position is an added advantage.
  • One year of experience supervising other Staff.
  • Knowledge of government agencies to be appropriately interfaced with
    tor given legal or regulatory issues with regard to accounting or record
    keeping.
  • Strong understanding of “generally accepted” accounting
    principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access,
    E-mail and internet.
  • Strong work experience with one or more computerized accounting
    systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required. Fluency in the predominant local
    language (s) also an added advantage.
  • Must uphold professional integrity.
