Sasakawa Africa
Association (SAA/SG2000) is an international non-profit organization that
promotes demonstration and widespread adoption of improved pre and
post-production agricultural technologies for smallholder farmers in Uganda in
collaboration with relevant government institutions, farmers’ organizations and
the private sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Drive the Project staff and their
    official visitors on official trips.
  • Ensure day-to-day maintenance of the
    assigned vehicle; and but not limited to performing minor repairs necessary
    to keep the vehicle safe and technically sound at all times
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Key Performance Indicators
  • Safe, secure driving
  • Maintenance of vehicles update
  • Timely updating of running chats, fuel
    logbooks and periodic vehicle checking Academic

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should have
    completed Secondary Education
  • Five years of work experience as a
    driver across their country
  • Possession of valid driver’s license
  • Good command of both written and spoken
    English and also the local language
