organization that provides humanitarian assistance and training to millions of
beneficiaries around the world.
leading and coordinating ARC’s field-level SGBV program with the objective of
preventing violence and discrimination and providing timely and effective
responses to survivors of SGBV.
- The ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC)
International SGBV Officer job placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Social Sciences, Community Psychology, and / or Social Work or
related field - A minimum of four (4) years’ experience working with SGBV Survivors,
preferably in refugee settings; and with knowledge of SASA! methodology
essential. - Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Language skills of
populations that ARC serves (e.g. Kiswahili, Luo, Arabic, Nuer,
Kinyarwanda, Somali, etc.) - Motorbike riding experience and permit preferable.
