information and skills of the population of Uganda. We deliver our commitment
through provision of sustainable OSH education; training, consultancy,
research, innovations and community engagement services.
Job Summary:  Addressing the issue of occupation safety and
health is a major challenge for many businesses and workplaces around the
country as activities in technology, industrialization, agriculture, mining and
construction continue to grow. To tackle this societal problem EIOSH is seeking
for two (2) OSHE lecturers, with the drive and capability to deliver change,
across all levels. These positions begin as soon as possible and it’s a full
time position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
To deal
with problems e.g. students’ academic progress and personal issues (e.g.
responding to needs of students with learning difficulties through referral to
the appropriate support departments within the Institute).
·        
Develop
and research own teaching materials, methods and approaches with guidance and
ensure that content, methods of delivery and learning materials meet defined
learning objectives.
·        
To
assess students overall performance, through setting/ marking programme work,
practical sessions, supervisions, fieldwork and examinations, providing
appropriate feedback to students
. 
·        
To
supervise the work of students, provide advice on study skills and help them
with learning problems.

Proven
leadership skills
·        
Motivation
to drive continuous improvement processes and ensure that capacity is maximised
·        
Ability
to manage a dynamic and changing workforce, as well as being able to work
extremely well under pressure
