• Monitor the overall quality of the WASH loan portfolio performance
  and draw attention to deviations from risk assets and acceptance criteria
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with
  implementing WASH officer teams.
• Identifying possible risks that could affect project implementation
  and suggesting possible ways of developing risk mitigation strategies to
  relevant stakeholders
• Working with relevant bank departments to support the WASH
  implementing teams to enable smooth implementation of the project
• Building relationships with partner organizations and any other WASH
  stakeholders, to mobilize potential borrowers to acquire WASH loans
• Timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports to relevant
  stakeholders using the appropriate templates as per request and schedule.
• Working with WASH branch teams to carry out performance monitoring
  visits to confirm proper utilization of WASH loans and their impact to
  lives of the beneficiaries
• Train and coach credit staff in WASH credit assessments/ analysis
  techniques and monitor their progress regularly
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Economics,
  Finance, Accounting or related fields
• At least five years of credit experience in a financial institution
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge and understanding of the Water Sanitation and Hygiene
  sector is an added advantage
• Skills in community mobilization and team building are critical
• Demonstrated computer literacy (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word,
  MS PowerPoint and databases).
