(BUL) is an FMCG company that has established a modern edible oil processing
complex in Masese, Jinja. BUL has also developed 10,000 hectares of oil palm
plantations on Bugala Island, Kalangala District as a backward integration
component. All these are geared at serving the African markets with our brands
of fortified edible oils, fats and laundry soap.
Job Summary: The
Stores Supervisor will primarily receive deliveries from suppliers, record,
arrange, keep the items in the store and issue items as per the approved
requisitions, initiate purchase requisitions for replacement of stock below
reorder level and make weekly/Monthly/periodic stores status reports
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Tasked with maintaining sufficient stocks levels and timely re-
    stocks as required to avoid stock outs
  • Maintaining stocks movement and daily tracking; inclusive of reports
  • Regularly follow up of all pending orders
  • Keep proper records for all in bound and out bound material
  • To receive and issue material in SAP
  • Compare physical stock with SAP daily and circulate report to the
    head
  • Update casual workers in BMS on daily basis and prepare their
    payment sheet weekly
  • Adopt and implement 5S, Food Safety and Kizen procedure in the
    Stores Department.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a good Bachelor’s in any
    business related course from a recognized University.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role within a large
    organization
  • Past exposure and experience in SAP specifically Material Management
    Module (Inventory & Purchase Order) is essential.
  • Good supervisory and interpersonal skills.
  • A person of high integrity, highly motivated, innovative and a
    committed team player.
  • Good analytical and Communication skills.
  • Ability to withstand stressful work situations and have willingness
    to work long hours outside the normal hours.
