Job Summary: The Research Officer will conduct
extensive research on initiatives
and issues relevant to the organization, compile and analyse data.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and
surveys on insurance industry performance and trends. - Implement monitoring
systems for tracking fundamental economic, financial and developments in
the insurance industry. - Collect, verify, analyse
and interpret data/information on insurance business and the industry as a
whole. - Take stock of new
developments, benchmark good practices and make them available to the
supervisors. - Prepare periodical and
annual reports as may be required from time to time. - Make proposals aimed at
promoting market development. - Perform any other duty as
may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for
the Insurance Regulatory Authority
of Uganda Research Officer job placement must hold a Bachelor’s
(Honours) degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, and
any other related field - Three years of practical
research experience in a reputable organisation.
