Finance Officer

- Prepare and process
payments and disburse / pay out money based on approved documents. - Receipt all cash and
cheques received and bank them in accordance with the finance procedures. - Handle all deposits and
withdrawal transactions according to IRA’s policies and procedures. - Account for and reconcile
cash at the end of the day. - Prepare invoicing
totals/aging totals, cash receipts and invoicing adjustments. - Remit statutory deductions
to the relevant authorities as per the regulations. - Receipt all cash and
cheques received and bank them in accordance with the finance procedures. - Prepare the Payroll and
the accompanying schedules by the 22nd of every month. - Advise on the cash and
bank balances and pending payments.
- The ideal candidate for
the Insurance Regulatory Authority
of Uganda Receipts and Payment Officer job placement must hold a
Bachelor’s (Honours) degree majoring in accounting from a recognized
university. - Professional qualification
ACCA/CPA (At least stage 1 for ACCA and level 2 for CPA). - Three years of relevant
working experience in a reputable organisation.
