Job Summary:
The Planning Officer will support the implementation of approved industry
plans, policies, procedures and technical backstopping.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of planning documents.
- Keenly monitor the implementation of the approved plans and overall
market development plan. - Provide quarterly status reports on the implementation of planned
activities. - Actively participate in resource mobilization drives of the
Authority. - Support the day to day operations of Market Research &
Development. - Work closely with the statistician to put in place an up-to-date
database to guide planning. - Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda
Planning Officer job placement must hold a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in
Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, and any other related
field. - Three years of working experience in a reputable organization.
- Knowledge of practical planning operations is a must.
