Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Scheduler/Commercial Traffic and Billing will create a 24/7
transmission schedule and advise management on the right programming. - The incumbent will also coordinate with other departments,
especially the production or engineering department, to ensure scheduling
and local television listings are accurate and up to date. - Sets the advertising schedule and helps develop and edit a station’s
master list of programming. Ensure accurate commercial traffic billing. - Monitors transmission to ensure programs start and end on time.
- Improve the company’s image and quality by presenting superb
programming. - Assess ratings and markets and developed plans to improve production
quality that meet viewers’ demand. - Create and implement strategies to increase efficiency while
maintaining deliveries of high quality programs. - Conduct market research and come up with new branding initiatives
effective for the target market
