Council (FRC) is an International NGO promoting adult education and community
development among refugees and has been active in Uganda since 1997 as an
operational partner to Office of the Prime Minister and United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will comply with and develop further Finnish Refugee
    Council (FRC) M & E systems.
  • Establish and improve data collection systems and tools inclusive of
    mobile data collection.
  • Regularly monitor, support and advice FRC staff in data collection.
  • The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will also analyse, manage
    and compile data for M & E, knowledge management and for reporting.
  • Support the projects to establish log frames, M&E work plans and
    targets.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant for the Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) Monitoring &
    Evaluation Officer job placement must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in
    Monitoring and Evaluation / Project Management / Statistics combined with
    strong M & E experience.
  • Three years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Strong planning, communication, presentation, training and reporting
    skills.
