About USAID Project:
Tetratech
International Services seeks to implement a USAID-funded Uganda Sanitation for
Health Activity. The project will work to increase household access to
sanitation and water services, and improve health through hygiene behavior
change campaigns in homes, schools and health facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant for the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist USAID
    Project job placement must hold a Master’s Degree in monitoring and
    evaluation (M&E), epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, research
    methods or related field and five (5) years of experience in M&E for
    health programs OR a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics,
    social sciences or epidemiology and a minimum of eight (8) years of work
    experience demonstrating increased level of responsibility.
  • Experience with advanced data cleaning, analysis, writing and
    visualization
  • High level of proficiency in Windows Excel (ODK) and Statistical
    Software (SPSS, STATA or Epi-info etc.)
  • Experience with mobile data collection tools, and mapping software
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully moving evaluation and
    research findings to program actions.
  • The ability to work in a multi—cultural, multi-ethnic environment with
    sensitivity and respect for diversity and gender are essential
    requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills
