Job Summary: The Manager Estates and Survey will be
responsible for the Land Surveying & Estates management functions as well
as providing data and information for the formulation of proposals for new
projects

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Land
Surveying activities of the Company and preparing/coordinating valuation
reports to guide Company business - Responsible for approval
of documents at the respective Government surveys and mapping offices. - Ensure value for-money in
all surveying works carried out or out sourced by the Company. - Provide the Company’s
Management, whenever necessary, with relevant specialist, expert and
technical advice with regard to the Company’s investment opportunities and
projects – especially those involving Partnerships, External Clientele and
other Service Providers – as well provide the necessary supervision,
quality assurance, facilitation and coordination of the implementation and
maintenance of the corresponding projects – with a view to ensuring their
profitable success. - Tasked with coordinating
with relevant local authorities to ensure correct assessment of rates on
Company properties - Ensures efficient
management of all Company estates and protect all vacant Company land from
any encroachment - Manages the transfer of
condominiums and disposal of property to owners - Oversees the supervision
of Company estates and ensures good management, maintenance and
cleanliness including attending to tenant complaints, management of water
connections and bills on Company properties, garbage collection among
others
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for
the Manager Estates and Survey job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Land Surveying, Valuation, or a closely related discipline from
a recognized University or Institution. - Full and valid
Professional Membership to a nationally or internationally recognized
professional body, such as ISU, SRB or any other relevant Body is a MUST. - Possession of Post
graduate qualification in Real Estates Management, Valuation, Surveying or
related discipline from a recognized Institution will be an added
advantage. - At least four years of
relevant working experience as a surveyor, Estates Manager or in a similar
position, in a large and reputable organization, preferably a vibrant
commercial organization, or a civil works Company, or an investment
Company. - Proven knowledge and
skills in application of CAD-related Software and MS Office Packages
(especially Autodesk, Archicad, Revit, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), are
essential. - Possession of a valid
professional practicing certificate will be an added advantage. - Cost consciousness and
ability to pursue value for money - Good negotiation,
communication and reporting skills - Analytical, accuracy and
Judgmental skills - Result oriented while
paying attention to details - Good computer literacy
skills - High levels of honesty,
ethics and integrity - Interpersonal and human
relations skills, as well as a team-player - Age Limit: Below 50
years
