Compliance Officer
operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda
and South Sudan. They are recruiting for a valuable client, one of our
National-based clients.
Land lease management database: input of
information, tracking changes and control of access rights for all other
business functions such as Finance, Acquisition and Operations teams
Filling, referencing and custody of all legal
documents
Providing legal support to Finance and
commercial teams on customer collections
Drafting and custody of all correspondences
between Eaton and its regulatory and business partners
Drafting and tracking a range of contracts and
documents including, but not limited to leasing and build to suit agreements,
letter agreements, and settlements as required by the business
Provide legal support and advice to the security
team on any cases as they may arise, which may include field travel to support
with investigations.
Ensure amicable closure of all cases reported to
the police or court to the benefit of Eaton Towers.
Work hand in hand with the legal and regulatory
outsourced partners to ensure that they are providing the services required.
Training of Eaton Towers staff, vendors,
customer and other applicable third parties with respect to anti-bribery
obligations and the code of business conduct
Conducting audit of business process to ensure
compliance with the legal requirements, anti-bribery obligations and the code
of business conduct
quarterly updates to the regulator as required by the license
The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Law
(Honours) plus Certificate of legal practice, LDC certification and its
equivalent
Three years of relevant experience in a law
firm.
