client, a reputable commercial bank in Uganda.
Human Resources Manager will support the implementation of human resources
development policies, performance management, compensation and benefits
management, recognition and reward systems administration, employee relations
and HR operations.
- Formulate HR planning strategies in line the business strategy;
- Carry out recruitment and selection for the Bank and manage the
onboarding experiences with in the Bank; - Facilitate the performance management process to establish a
result-oriented culture throughout the Bank; - Assist in the process of training needs analysis and execution of
development interventions; - Maintain full, accurate and up-to-date human resources records and
statistics of all individual employees; - Participate in benefits administration;
- Participate in the process of establishing effective labor relations
and maintain good employee relations within the Bank; and - Manage the HR Information Management system and provide reports to
aid decision making.
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource
Management or Business related discipline; - Relevant professional qualification or postgraduate training in
Human Resource Management is a must; - Five (5) years Human Resource Management experience directly
reporting to an HR Director/Manager in a medium to large organization; - Experience in a banking and/or other financial services institution
would be an added advantage; - At least two (2) years of line management experience would be an added
advantage; and - Competence in use of HRIS/ HR Software and MS Office applications.
