Council (FRC) is an international NGO promoting adult education and community
development among refugees and has been active in Uganda since 1997 as an
operational partner to Office of the Prime Minister and United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
- Formulate and implement organisations HR policies and procedures.
Update, maintain and orientate staff to HR manuals and guidelines at
national and field levels. - Manage recruitment and selection processes.
- Design appropriate performance appraisal systems, support in change
management. - Review monthly financial reports, analysis of actual expenditure,
consolidate cash requests. - Ensure adherence to legal financial requirements and payments.
- Assist in preparing budgets for funding proposals.
- Review and oversee the purchase processes and procurement plans.
- Ensure that standards of good practice in management and
administration are in place.
- The applicant for the Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) Human Resource
and Finance Manager job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR
Management, Project Administration / Management, Business Administration
or similar. Masters’ preferred. - A minimum of six years of experience, two of which in a managerial
position. - Experience in dealing with donors, advanced computer skills,
knowledge in change management and capacity building.
