girls with its product. Headquartered in Kampala, Uganda and with a
manufacturing facility in Masaka, AFRIpads currently employs 160 staff across
both locations. To facilitate its growth and improve production efficiency,
AFRIpads is building its own workshop in Kitengesa village, located 7 km
outside of Masaka, which will be completed in August 2018.

- Oversee entire production
process from intake of raw materials to output of finished products - Provide clear and timely
production planning including giving indications of raw material needs and
developing daily work plans tor all departments - Ensure 100% quality of all
products and proactively recognize all risks that could affect future
quality - Analyse all production
processes in both human and machine capacity to optimize efficiencies - Build yearly production
budget and track expenses over the year in relation to the budget - Create detailed reports
including but not limited to tracking movements of inventory, efficiency
gains, etc. - Support the Research &
Development team in testing the production of new products to help
management determine the viability of taking on these new endeavours
- Five years of experience
in operational management or a commercial manufacturing company - Advanced quantitative
analysis skills and advanced knowledge in excel - Ability to manage, train
and empower a multi-cultural team of operational staff - Strong references from
past managers - Outstanding written and
verbal communications skills (English) - Entrepreneurial spirit and
collaborative nature
