Job Summary: The
Officer, Capability Development, Agency Banking will continuously equip Stanbic
Bank’s agents, agents, agent’s staff and bank staff with the knowledge and
skills required to manage agency banking operations effectively and in
compliance with bank standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Agency
Banking training manuals:
Develop
and update the agent banking training manual for agents and staff as required
·        
Agency
Banking skill and knowledge gap analysis:
Identify agent and staff skill and knowledge gaps, and develop training
content and plans to close these gaps
·        
Agency
Banking training:
o   Build and maintain capability by continuously
training agents, agent’s staff and bank staff
o   Develop e-learning and simulations and drive
completion by agents, agent’s staff and bank staff.
o   Evaluate effectiveness of training and take
action to improve effectiveness
·        
Agency
Banking training reports:
Provide
reports detailing the training carried out, outcomes achieved, expenditure and
impact on agent, agent’s staff and bank staff performance
Key Performance Indicators:

Banking knowledge and skill gaps analysis

Percentage
completion of training as per schedule and budget

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        
The
ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Officer, Capability Development, Agency
Banking career placement should hold a Degree from a recognized university
·        
Effective
Business Communication: Competency Description: The ability to communicate
information and ideas in a clear and concise manner appropriate for the
audience in order to explain, persuade, convince and influence others to
achieve the desired outcomes.

Campaign
Management: The ability to plan, create, track, store, distribute, analyse
results and reports on communication, branding or advertising campaigns.
·        
Product
Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the features, benefits and pricing of
the products and services on offer to personal banking customers across
multiple customer segments.
·        
Customer
Understanding: The ability to analyse customer needs by engaging with them,
analysing their personal financial objectives as well as their current
financial position.
·        
Banking
Process and Procedures: Sound knowledge of the Bank’s laid down policies and
procedures as it relates to the processing of customer transactions.
·        
Heart of
Customer Experience: Within the Standard Bank Customer Experience Framework,
the ability to treat the customer with respect and dignity, at a personal
level, in a positive and friendly manner.
