Referral Hospital has received a grant from EGPAF under the USAID RHITES-SW
project to support implementation of integrated health services, including
quality maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, malaria and child
development services at the hospital.
- The Clinical Officer (TB/HIV Clinic) will take Care of TB/HIV
co-infection patients referred to TB/HIV Clinic in MRRH. - Work hand in hand with the staff on TB ward of MRRH to ensure TB/HIV
collaborative activities are being implemented according to guidelines. . - Make comprehensive reports at the end of the month and quarter about
activities/outputs that have been achieved in TB/HIV. - S/he will participate in planning, directing, budgeting,
coordination, monitoring and evaluation of clinical work - Actively participate in adopting the quality improvement approaches
to improve the overall quality of health services; especially for TB and
HIV care and treatment, and enhance client outcomes. - Participate in the provision of information/education to the public
as part of health promotion. - The incumbent will manage and account for allocated resources,
participating in research activities and build the capacity of students
and staffs at the Hospital and ensure that staff adhere to Professional
Code of Conduct and Ethics
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Medicine and Community Health
from a recognized Training institution - Training in HIV/AIDS care
- Training in Counselling
- Training in TB/HIV Management
- Training in STI/STD management
- At least two years of work experience in management of HIV/AIDS,
STI/STD and TB - Current trends in the management of HIV/AIDS, STI/STD and TB
- Working technical knowledge of HIV/AIDS
- Rights of People Living With HIV/AIDS
- Skilled in the management of HIV/AIDS, TB/HIV and STI/STDs
- Counselling Skills
- Planning Skills
