Job Summary: The Export Sales Manager will widen its foot
print and broaden its horizons by reaching customers across the region. The
appointed candidate will have the duty to spread awareness of the brand, and
identify prospective customers and untapped business opportunities throughout
the region.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Export Sales Manager will be
responsible for Generating and Enhancing the Sales of Fishnets within the
Region. - Analyze trends of the customers and
develop sales plans and strategies to meet their needs. - Identify new business opportunities by
tapping potential customers across the region. - Plan, design, develop and implement
different sales activities by researching the customer’s needs and
requirements - Make sure that existing customers are
retained and maintained while developing new customers. - Ensure that the all sales and marketing
activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, expected volume, and
within the given time scales. - Take initiative and put in efforts to
develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down
or hamper the export activities of the company, including
presentations/representations to regulatory agencies/
ministries/departments. - Constantly review distributor
performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be
provided to the management - Conduct market research, conduct
surveys, study competitors, their marketing and sales strategies. - Make new plans that will help the
company to race ahead in the competition by prioritizing the target
areas/segments. - Actively participate in Trade shows and
Exhibitions. - Make suggestions to improve the product
based on the feedback received from customers. - Train and mentor sales representatives.
- Create awareness about the product in
the region by conducting advertising and marketing/promotion campaigns.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess an
educational Background in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and
Management or relevant qualifcation - At least five to seven years of related
work experience - Passion and flexibility to travel long
distances within the Region. - Have Strong Interpersonal Communication
Skills to develop healthy, professional relationships with Distributors
and Customers demonstrated by Exceptional Leadership Quality. - Excellent Negotiation Skills is a
Pre-Requisite in determining the Prices and Discounts. - Should be able to work in a Target
Oriented Work Environment. - Should be able to Prioritize Work based
on a Given Deadline. - Excellent time management and
organization skills with the ability to do, fast mathematical computations
will be an advantage. - Should be Proficient in Computers to
maintain and update various kinds of Reports, Prepare Presentations. - Proficiency in Swahili in addition to
English would definitely prove to be an added advantage while interacting
with Customers/Government Officials.
