About US:
Redroad Tours is a
receptive tour operator that provides package safari tours and inbound
transportation to foreign travellers visiting East Africa. We also provide and
administer study abroad programs for high school and university students from
international institutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Develop
and document a content marketing strategy
·        
Formulate
a channel plan and manage distribution of content across all channels
·        
Establish
standards, technology and tools, best practices and work flows to manage the
content marketing lifecycle
·        
Set
guidelines for the tone, style and voice of all company content
·        
Manage
and maintain content inventories
.
·        
Work closely
with IT to implement efficient content management systems, marketing and
distribution platforms
·        
Collaborate
and coordinate with team member from other departments to:
·        
Spot new
content opportunities o Turn technical knowledge into content
·        
Help
other improve writing skills to build an in-house content team
·        
Hire and
manage outsourced content creators.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        
The
applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, Journalism, Travel
and Tourism Management or any other related field.
·        
One year
of experience in the following subjects:
o   Inbound marketing
o   Blogging
o   Social media marketing
o   SEO
·        
Using
email marketing software such as Mail Chimp and Constant Contact
·        
Knowledge
and experience in IT skills such as using Adobe suite, html and CSS is an added
advantage
·        
Knowledge
and experience of Uganda’s tourist attractions is also an added advantage.
·        
Exemplary
copywriting and editing skills
·        
Ability
to create various types of content such as social media posts, email
newsletters, blog posts, video, eBooks, guides e.t.c
·        
Ability
to create, find and manage distribution channels to promote content to target
audiences.
·        
Ability
to plan, deliver and execute marketing campaigns
·        
Strong
skills in SEO
·        
Ability
to find, study and analyze data
.
·        
Multitasking
and organizational skills
·        
Excellent
planning and communication skills
·        
Ability
to carry out market research both online and in the field
·        
Proficient
IT skills
