Assistance Manager
is a Christian Relief, Development and Advocacy Non-Government Organization

- Collect, compile and present implementation challenges and submit
them to donor meetings at field level in respect to the world vision
commodity manual - Prepare and disseminate the distribution plan to staff and
beneficiaries in line with the beneficiary list - Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual commodity status
reports to my supervisor and the donor (Narrative) in line with FPMG and
donor requirements. - Keenly review all statistical reports before submission.
- Plan and provide training to the staff in commodity management in
line with the World Vision commodity manual - Review all commodity documents to identify any mistakes for
correction in line with standard operating procedures - Carry out staff appraisal in line with job description
- Prepare invoice summaries to WFP for approval and funding in line
with WFP/WV approved budget. - Prepare the commodity annual budget in line with the approved
project budget - Review cash vouchers in line with World Vision finance manual
- Inspect the warehouse and produce a warehouse inspection report in
line with WV warehouse manual.
- The ideal candidate for the World Vision Field Coordinator job
opportunity must hold a university degree or equivalent. - Two years of experience in a related field preferably in commodity
programming and logistics. - Strong leadership and management skills and abilities.
- Computer literate with proven skills in Spreadsheets and
Word-processing. - Be a self-starter, with dedication and ability to work with less or
no supervision. - Must demonstrate willingness to learn from others, train others and
work as team member.
