• Vigilance on compliance to the Bank’s policies and procedures in
  regard to Bancassurance services,
• To constantly check for fulfillment of the legal, statutory and
  regulatory requirements of Bank of Uganda and Insurance Regulatory Authority
  and other relevant bodies,
• To execute daily Bancassurance Operations which entails cross –
  selling of products; posting risk details, claims administration and
  documentation,
• Compile information relevant for advising the Manager on strategy
  execution and monitor progress on implementation

• Initiate and build new client relationships and partnerships whilst
  ensuring retention of existing business relationships through high
  standards of customer service,
• Advice customers and respond to inquiries, resolve issues promptly
  as per laid down policies/procedures,
• Represent the bank in marketing events, sales functions,
  conferences, business meetings and industry events.

• Induce sustainable business growth aligned to respective portfolios
  (both quantity and quality) in order to achieve the set standards target,
• Manage and ensure accuracy of records and reports of Bancassurance
  transactions.
• Champion the delivery of good customer service to ensure customer
  retention and royalty.
• Participate in the Insurance Sales Activation Programs.

• Continuously track the collection of premiums on all Insurance
  businesses transacted.
• Train staff members on management of insurance products and
  sensitize customers on insurance products.

• The applicant for the Tropical Bank Limited Specified Person,
  Bancassurance job placement must hold a diploma in any field of study, or
  its equivalent recognized under the relevant laws
• A Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance
• Holder of Professional indemnity and Fidelity insurance policies
  (added advantage)
• Three years’ experience in Insurance.
• Ability to identify business opportunities from market intelligence
• Knowledge of underwriting, claims, finance or regulation
• Experience in training and sales (added advantage)
