Job Summary:
The Driver will provide safe transport for IRA’s management, staff and
equipment to and from designated places

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport staff/visitors, collect and deliver documents and parcels
to various destinations. - Carry out pre-driving checks.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure vehicle not tampered with while
being washed. - Maintain proper records of fuel consumption and service of vehicle
from approved garage. - Verify working condition of seat belts, door locks and windows.
- Maintain a zero case of accidents; if an accident occurs, it should
be reported to the police and followed up. - Check that vehicles have valid road licenses, motor third-party, comprehensive
insurance and car-tracking devices. - Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda
Driver job placement must hold an A’ Level certificate - Valid driving license/permit
- Hold a certificate in mechanics and defensive driving is added
advantage - Two years of experience in driving
