The National Council
for Higher Education (NCHE) was established under “The Universities and Other
Tertiary Institutions Act, 2001” for regulating and guiding the establishment
and management of institutions of higher learning, regulating the quality of
higher education, equating of qualifications and for advising government on
higher education issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the offices of NCHE;
- Prompt cleaning of NCHE offices including but not limited to
mopping, dusting, sweeping and washing; - The Office Attendant will be delivering documents within offices;
- Assists with filing, photocopying and binding of NCHE official
documents; - Assists with loading and offloading materials as may be required;
- The Office Attendant will assist with arranging venues for meetings
and functions at NCHE premises; and; - Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by
superiors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Office Attendant job placement should
preferably hold an Ordinary Level Certificate of Education; - A minimum of two years of experience in performing the detailed
duties - Must have teamwork, interpersonal as well as good communication
skills; - Should have good knowledge of the registry procedures and standards;
- Ability to speak English.
