Job Summary:
The Sales and Distribution Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing
an effective sales strategy for Uganda Clays; supervise the sales teams in all
locations to ensure that a high standard of customer service is provided at all
points of sale and that sales targets are met.
The Sales and Distribution Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To develop national, regional, and
international sales strategies; contributing to marketing and
communications plans. - To supervise and manage all territories.
- To lead market research projects needed
to inform planning, R&D - To ensure that all sales team members work
aggressively to achieve sales targets while providing the high levels of
customer service. - To oversee the development and
implementation of an effective distribution network; ensuring that
customers are able to easily access UCL’s products at all times. - To lead the Sales Team in a manner that
empowers them to deliver excellently
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Sales and Distribution Manager must
hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration
with specialisation in Marketing from a recognised institution. - Post graduate qualification in
Marketing. - Full or partial CIM qualification.
- Five years of sales and/or marketing
experience, three of which must have been in a similar position. - Good working knowledge in ERP, particularly
Navision or such related software. - Excellent communication skills.
- Highly structured and self-driven work
approach.
