Job Summary:
The Programme Manager-Empowerment & Livelihood for Adolescent (ELA) is
responsible for ensure ELA programme sustainability, smooth and proper/quality
programme implementation, liaise with different stakeholders at different
levels that ensure active participation and ownership of the programme and on
time and quality report delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Implement
and follow up the programme as per different projects of ELA programme.
·        
Manage
fund as per budget and ensure funding for expansion and new initiatives and
ensure proper fund utilization and on time/quality reporting.
·        
Work
closely with different stakeholders to include, government donors, and develop
strategic partnership for sustainability of the programme.
·        
Develop
staff through different trainings both managerial and field operations for good
performance and better service delivery.
·        
Identify
sector challenges and assess needs to develop appropriate interventions fitting
the Uganda context
·        
Establish,
coordinate and maintain good relationship with other BRAC programmes.
·        
Prepare
and facilitate in preparing different reports and documents on program
experiences and process, best practices and results.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidate for the BRAC International Programme Manager Empowerment &
Livelihood for Adolescent (ELA) job placement should hold a graduate degree
in relevant studies
·        
At least
seven years of related work experience
·        
Project
planning and management, experienced in adolescents child protection,
development and gender related issues, People management
·        
Experience
in proposal development and grant management.
