Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
Tasked
with ensuring that the technical accuracy of the training program being
implemented for the training and development of field operations personnel
Ensure the recruitment process implemented addresses the core educational and
experience requirements for personnel .
·        
Make
sure the Onsite post-academic training ensures the competence development to an
agreed level before plant start-up.
·        
Follow
up and ensure the post training competence development strategy is developed
and implemented.
·        
Provide
technical input to the recruitment process including job description
preparation, technical interview scope development and final selection of
personnel.
·        
Provide
input to the training matrix development for operational personnel including
the identification of key skills required for each role.
·        
Assist
the Training Manager in the development of the global training strategy.
·        
Act as
Company technical advisor to the training provider.
·        
Implement
a Coaching and Mentoring scheme for the trainees to ensure that any skills gap
are adequately and quickly addressed.
·        
Monitor
the training contract implementation in support of the field operations
training manager.
·        
Lead the
competency development post completion of the academic and On the Job
Orientation at site during the construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and
start-up phases.
·        
Develop
and ensure compliance with the competency standards required.
·        
Follow
the Operation Training Simulator technical development ensuring that a fit for
purpose tool is developed for use by Field operations personnel

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidates for the TOTAL Operations (OPS) On the Job Training Coordinator
job placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
·        
Ten to
fifteen years of broad practical experience in the field operations activities
within an E&P or refining environment with significant experience in the
field operations (production supervisor, production superintendent, maintenance
superintendent.)
·        
In-depth
knowledge of the principles related to the training and competency assessment.
·        
Clear
understanding in training and recruitment processes
·        
In depth
knowledge of the principles related to the training and competency assessment.
·        
Ability
to work independently and excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
·        
Demonstrate
a rigorous and methodical approach to activities, flexibility and adaptability
