Job Summary: 
The Officer Transactional Products and Liabilities will grow the Liabilities
book through wealth creation and retention by strategic planning, product
design, product management and product performance of PBB Transactional and
Liabilities Products
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Effective monitoring of Transactional Liabilities products across
    the PBB stream, action the Daily Balance sheet movement report and
    engagement with the segments to follow the money for balances that have
    since dropped off the balance sheet.
  • Effective product interest rate  
    management , concession management and appropriate  pricing for transactional
    Liabilities   products
  • Effective profitability and trend analysis and management of the
    products (Manages the day-to-day business of the product portfolio)
  • Analysis of the product profitability/ Provide updates on Product
    performance. Provide a monthly report at product level on balance sheet
    movement and profitability for both BB and PM
  • Carry out Market intelligence and analysis on rates and Pricing
  • Develop and understand core customer insights
  • Sales/cross-sell strategies aligned to overall customer offerings
  • Customer information
  • Product training material.
  • Collaborate with Digital Channels to drive  digital agenda for Business Banking

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Officer Transactional
    Products and Liabilities should hold an honours degree in business commerce,
    finance and accounting. Masters Degree is desired
  • Three to four years of experience
  • Numerate, with the ability to do financial modelling, Business
    acumen to understand and drive impact of actions on product economics
  • Proficiency in Computer skills, Word, Excel, MIS reporting, CPA/
    ACCA
