Job Summary: The
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist position offers qualified individuals the
rare opportunity to shape and maximize the impact potential of the fund.

rare opportunity to shape and maximize the impact potential of the fund.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Specialist will actively participate in
the following activities as Mango Fund serves its markets;

- Provide program management, project backstopping and M&E support
to a portfolio of projects. - Develop PMPs; train local staff in monitoring and evaluation,
provide quality control for M&E activities; analyze data; and report
and disseminate findings. - Design and implement performance and/or impact evaluations of
international development projects. - Ensure the integrity of proposed evaluation methodologies and
processes of evaluation findings. - Write, compile, and/or edit program reports.
- Ensure the quality of work and compliance with contractual
obligations and results. - Track work plans, budgets and deadlines and keep appropriate staff
informed of upcoming contract-related tasks. - Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age
sensitivity and adaptability - Support new business development efforts for evaluation and learning
proposals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- The applicant must hold a University degree in Economics,
International relations, Business Administration or related field. - Three years of experience in program monitoring and performance
M&E as well as demonstrated experience in supporting and leading
project-wide M&E activities - Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software
using database software. - Strong training & facilitation skills.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative data
collection and statistical analysis, data management and reporting
approaches. - Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent
communication skills.
