The Mechanical Superintendent will provide troubleshooting, technical support and
repair assistance for the project, monitor the preventative maintenance system
through equipment inspection and audit, make corrections and recommendations to
maintenance routines and implement maintenance procedures for equipment.
- Provide technical support to external and internal customers.
- Resolve mechanical operational problems related to projects and
minimize delays or unexpected cost increases. - Responsible for project success as part of a project team.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are
observed for all work completed. - Interpret client requirements, identify and address design
parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately
and in budget. - Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements.
- Define equipment and parts from external suppliers.
- Conduct cost estimation.
- Project Management: oversee project workflow and support internal
and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected
quality, and allotted budget
- The Pernix Group Mechanical Superintendent should have Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related degree). - Three to five years of related job experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks software, MS Office.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical design and its
application. - Good knowledge of SAP is a must.
- Experience in international construction standards is a must.
- Applicants with embassy construction projects experience will have
an added advantage. - Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, equipment, tools, and
material used in the mechanical works - Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of
the work. - Ability to plan, organize, lay out, and direct a variety of
mechanical work projects. - Ability to supervise the work of others.
- Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral
instructions including the interpretation of drawings and blue prints. - Ability to estimate the amounts of labor, material, and equipment
required for the project and prepare cost estimates.
