Job Summary: The
Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for handling all patients and
specimens professionally to ensure quality diagnostic services from the
laboratory. The role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role
profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
applicant for the Save the Children Laboratory Assistant job placement should
be a registered Laboratory assistant from a recognised institution
·        
Previous
experience in Medical Laboratory work
·        
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills
·        
Ability
to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility, motivation.
·        
Previous
experience of NGO work
·        
Fluency
in written and spoken English
