includes advocacy against torture and provision of physical and psychological
treatment and rehabilitation, social support and legal services to survivors of
torture.

Job Summary: The
Head of Finance and Administration will lead the development and implementation
of financial management, administration and human resource strategy, policies
and procedures so as to enable ACTV achieve its organisational objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish appropriate policy
framework for finance, administration and human resources functions. - Lead the processes of financial
planning, budgeting and compliance - Develop and successfully implement a fundraising strategy, identify
potential sources of funding, and ensure adequate funding is available for
the sustainable operations of ACTV. - Develop and implement a financial reporting system
- Co-ordinate and implement the HR strategy, policies and procedures
in accordance to the relevant policies, procedures, standards and
statutory requirements. - Establish an efficient and highly reliable administrative support
for the effective implementation of ACTV plans and programmes - Supervise, and manage the finance and administration staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised
university. - Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.)
- Master’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration is an added
advantage. - At least five years of experience preferably in an NGO environment,
of which three years should be at senior level.
