Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasked with the developing, documenting and implementing electrical
teaching programs that are consistent with the ethos of the school in line
with appropriate curriculum guidelines and suitable to the needs of the
students. - Thoroughly prepare suitable teaching, learning and assessment
materials for a range of classes and make use of appropriate learning and
teaching methods. - Regular assessment and evaluation of student performance ensuring to
keep records of all student progress reports and work assessed. - Supervision and monitoring of assigned equipment to ensure safety of
the end users and appropriate use of the equipment at all times. - Set, mark and moderate examinations and prepare end-of-term reports
within the specified time frame. - Be responsible for the effective instruction, training and
assessment of pupils in electrical abilities. Minor repairs to breakdowns
and damages.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Watoto Electrical Teacher job opportunity
should hold at least a diploma in electrical installation. Technical
teacher’s qualification is an added advantage. - At least two (2) years working experience as an Electrician.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to work within a team environment with an ability to work under minimal supervision.
- High degree of flexibility, initiatives and creativity with ability
to pay great attention to safety precautions
