• Perform measurement of patients’ basic/vital physical parameters
• Enter medical data of patients into register, patient’s file, and
  electronic databases; and provide monthly medical reports
• Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to patient’s medical
  records, patient management and treatment
• Administer minor ‘outpatient’ treatment and immunization
  requirements
• Assist in providing health education and health promotion programs
  for the Institute
• Maintain medical supplies inventory
• Organize and prioritize work schedule to meet client needs and
  Institutional deadlines
• Establish, build and sustain effective relationships within MLI as
  well as with internal and external clients
• Serve the community in health related situations to achieve healthy
  community facets

• The applicant must hold a Diploma in Nursing
• Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
• One to three years of continuous clinical experience in nursing as a
  registered nurse
• Previous experience in the usage of computers / MS Office Packages
  (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in a Clinical and
  Research setting, with respect for diversity
• Effective Communication; ability to write in a clear and concise
  manner and to communicate effectively orally
• Flexible and reliable with demonstrated ability to adapt to
  different clinical/research environments
• Must be diligent, honest and able to work with minimal supervision
• Age: Between 21
  and 35 years
