Ltd is a social impact, fast growing and innovative MFI Headquartered in
Masindi. Operating a network of FIVE branches located Masindi, Kigumba, Hoima,
Kagadi and Nakasongola, ENCOT’s mission is to provide loans and enterprise
development services to small/medium size rural entrepreneurial communities,
most especially women, to allow them curve their own paths out of poverty
through creation of own jobs. It serves over 20,000 clients in the Mid-Western
/ Central Regions.
Human Resources Officer (HRO) will act as the liaison between the HR department
and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all
queries. This motivated candidate will assist in maintaining the HR systems,
new hire processing and payroll related tasks.
- Assists with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties;
- Assists the SHRBP with daily tasks and projects;
- Updates and maintains HR systems as directed and generate scheduled
or requested reports; - Assists with payroll related inquiries and reporting as needed;
- Responsible for all HR file maintenance;
- Answering routine calls and email correspondence within department
procedures; - Assists with the background screening process of newly hired staff;
- Backs up new hire coordination as needed;
- Assist the HR team with special projects as directed;
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- The Human Resources Officer (HRO) must hold a University Degree. Prior
training in Human Resources Management is highly desired. - One year of Human Resources Administration related experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required;
- Working knowledge of computer applications and HRIS systems;
- Must be dependable, able to follow directions, and must be able to
improve performance through management feedback; - Creative and business writing skills a plus;
- Strong ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization;
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced
environment. - Exposure to Human Resources work.
- Prior experience in a financial sector.
