Services (AKES) currently operates over 200 schools and advanced educational
programmes that provide quality pre-school, primary, secondary, and higher
secondary education services to students in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kenya,
the Kyrgyz Republic, Uganda, Tanzania, and Tajikistan. AKES, operates schools
from Pre–School to High School and offers the British National Curriculum
(BNC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE),
international Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Uganda National
Primary and Secondary curriculum.
Facilities Manager within its establishment will be responsible for ensuring
proper maintenance of all AKES, U facilities and manage all repairs and
construction projects for AKES, U. The Facilities Manager will be responsible
for creating a preventative maintenance culture for all AKES, U facilities.
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil or
structural engineering is required as well as a quantity surveying
certification. - At least five years of facilities and construction management
experience include 3+ years’ experience at management Level in a busy
environment. - Broad knowledge of construction standards, laws and regulations is
required.
