result of the “Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Act, 2004”, which
merged the operations of Uganda Television (UTV) and Radio Uganda. It started
broadcasting on November 16, 2005.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) Director Technical Services job placement
must hold an honors degree in any of the following courses: BSC Electrical
Engineering, BSC Mechanical Engineering, BSC Electronics or any other
related field. - Post Graduate degree in the above field
or Management is a must. - Qualification in Radio or Television
production is an added advantage. - At least ten years’ experience in radio
and television field at a managerial level in a large organization. - Significant experience either in Radio
or Television production.
